Wedding Ceremony "Hakuna Matata Beach" - Zanzibar

Wedding Day Information:

For the most memorable ceremony you will use the beautiful old Chuini ruins for the wedding ceremony. After the official wedding you can enjoy the sunset at the beach during the reception and later on have dinner between romantic bonfires. For the dance and music after the dinner the Chuini Restaurant is the best place with its magnificent sea view.

Wedding Package:

Specially designed wedding package includes:

1. The official wedding ceremony, official papers, paperwork necessary meetings with registrar

Including:

• Flower bouquet for the bride and groom, Hair stylist, Photographer 1 day incl. CD

• Apostille (confirmation by the consul most countries in the world require)

• Service of the bishop of Zanzibar for the religious wedding ceremony

• Welcome Reception; that includes the following - Hakuna Matata Cocktail (with alcohol), Non alcoholic fruit cocktail, Sparkling wine, Soft drinks and juices, four different kinds of finger food served from the tray

• Dinner; Including the following - Seafood and more BBQ, the barbecue includes; A selection of starters, Vanilla spiced lobster bisque, Fresh grilled fish, calamari, crab claws, cigal and lobster, A selection of meat dishes, Vegetable skewers, Our home smoked fish and beef, Baked potato, Warm bread and butter, Tropical Dessert buffet.

• Accommodation on this day will be in Luxury Suite Bungalow for the wedding couple for the romantic wedding night.

An example of wedding day:

Religious Ceremony start at 5:00pm and end at 5:30pm "to be held at Chuini Ruins", then from 5:30pm to 6:00pm at the same location a wedding Ceremony will take place. From 6:00pm to 6:30pm is time for Welcome reception which will take place on the white sandy beach of the lodge, to be followed by BBQ Buffet at the same location from 6:30pm to 9:00pm and lastly from 9.00pm till Open end is time for music and dance at the Restaurant. This can be arranged for up to 50 participants.

Package Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive, Zanzibar:

Arrive, Zanzibar Airport. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to Hakuna Matata Beach Lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation is on half board basis in a Luxury Superior Bungalow.

Day 2: Leisure and preparation for a wedding day:

Spend this day at Hakuna Matata Lodge at leisure while doing some preparations for the coming wedding day. Dinner and overnight at Hakuna Matata Beach Lodge. Accommodation is on half board basis in a Luxury Superior Bungalow.

Day 3: Wedding day:

Today is the wedding day. Activities and facilities as mentioned in the wedding day information above. Accommodation in a Luxury Suite Bungalow at Hakuna Matata Beach Lodge.

Day 4: Rest and Relax:

Spend full day at leisure and overnight along the well maintained beach of the Hakuna Matata Lodge. Accommodation is on half board basis in a Luxury Suite Bungalow.

Day 5: Departure:

Pick up from the Lodge and transfer to Zanzibar airport to connect with your homebound flight or continue to other destinations.

• International air fare to/from Zanzibar (we can arrange on request)

• Drinks; This will be provided on request. You will send us a list and allow us time to organize them for you

Note that:
On the wedding day, a 5 course Candle light Dinner for 2 including 1bottle of wine can be provided at an extra cost of US $ 84 per person.
And also we would be very happy to create a tailor made buffet or dinner for you. Please tell us your requested dishes and we will provide them for you.

Best times of the year for a wedding:
The best months for a wedding are January - March and June - October, which are the warmest and driest months. The remaining months are the rainy season and therefore are not perfect for a wedding.

Honeymoon Option:
After a wedding ceremony you may wish to spend some days in another nice beach hotel in Zanzibar for honeymoon. Below is a 7 day honeymoon itinerary you may take. The itinerary below can be customized. You can add or reduce some days and extend it to other destinations.

Honeymoon Itinerary:

Day 6: Transfer from Hakuna Matata to Another Chosen Hotel:

In the morning after breakfast pick up from Hakuna Matata Lodge and transfer to one of the following hotels (Breezes Beach Club, Karafuu Beach Hotel, Ocean Paradise or Blue Bay Beach Resort). Overnight at a hotel of your choice. Accommodation is based on dinner and breakfast.

Day 7 – 12: Rest and Relax:

At leisure and overnight at your chosen hotel. Activities can be arranged on request.

Day 13: Journey Home:

Pick up from your Hotel and transfer to Zanzibar Airport to connect with your homebound flight or continue to other destinations.

Note:
This itinerary can be extended to other destinations. You may add wildlife safari to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park or to Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park and Mikumi National Park or you can extend it to Kenya doing wildlife safari to Masai Mara National Park, Amboseli National Park and Samburu. If you like adventure activities you may add Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru Climbing.
